Homewood Asheville Wedding

Erin and Matt’s wedding day at the gorgeous venue of Homewood Zillicoa in Asheville, North Carolina, was the kind of party you always hope to be invited to. The coolest people you know throw a shindig in the most magical stone mansion tucked into the Carolina mountains at the peak of autumn, with all the vibey music, exquisite food and delightful company you could hope for. Their personalities shimmered beautifully in every detail they brought to their day. We were deeply moved by the tender honor given to a certain loved one who is no longer with them through an heirloom locket with precious photos inside. And we were giddy at the sight of a rotary phone that guests could use to record their well wishes to the couple, who can now listen to them on a vinyl record any time! With a VW bus photo booth, garden cocktail hour, stunning flowers at every turn, and a lively dance floor, this wedding was packed with fun and beauty in tandem all day long.

The couple met at Petra's in Charlotte when Matt's band, Cuzco, was playing a gig. Matt works at a pet company, loving on pups daily, and Erin works for arts non-profits and finds joy in gardening. Both artistically passionate people, they are creating a life together that is uniquely beautiful. Their love for one another shines in their commitment to each other to be partnered together for the rest of their lives. We count it such a joy to have been with them on this incredible day!
