Sarah's art is pure poetry. The photos she takes are magical, moody, dark and emotionally complete. She captured our wedding and the open, loving nature of our family and friends with extraordinary patience and care, and without making us feel as though we had been dragged onto a stage (something we were worried about when choosing to hire a photographer).

Without a doubt, working with Sarah was the best choice we could have made for our wedding in terms of vendors. She is a being of peaceful, artistic confidence in the midst of the chaos of planning an event: if you are looking for a photographer that will immortalize the beautiful, quiet moments along with the overwhelming joy of joining two lives together, you have found her. Sarah is an extremely talented artist, but she is also incredibly organized-- she even provided some ideas for certain parts of the ceremony and reception that we enjoyed thoroughly and never would have thought of on our own.

We are beyond grateful that Enowen photography was a part of our day. My partner and I are both fairly quiet, reserved people, and Sarah drew us out of ourselves by being patient with our hesitance to share our love with others in a visible way. Her work was the perfect complement to a small, intimate wedding, and she was willing to hike with us to our favorite waterfall for our own small ceremony. I think any other photographer would have taken something away from the experience for two fairly shy people that simply wanted to enjoy the day, but Sarah seemed to suddenly appear at just the right moments to give my husband and I a moment to breathe with each other away from our guests. We were afraid that hiring a wedding photographer might mean being dragged away from our guests and into countless posed pictures, but Sarah absolutely never did that-- she only added to the experience. Her diligence, thoughfulness, and seemingly endless emotional intelligence meant that we could enjoy our wedding without skipping a beat and also have a spectacular set of photos to look at later and reminisce. Her art will be family heirlooms for generations to come.

We have printed so many of the pictures to hang in our home: again, Sarah's work is not just photography, but art, as sure as any painting or sculpture. The posed pictures were lovely, but the candid shots are absolutely breathtaking-- there are so many photos that I did not know she was taking, but that I am deepy grateful she was there to record. Her eye for chiaroscuro is impeccable-- the lighting in every photo is perfect, and her editing skills are STELLAR.

In short: if you are looking for someone who will make your day more, not less, special and still get all of the photos that you could possibly want and then some, Sarah is the right choice.

Oh my goodness. I loved working with Sarah! I was nervous before my first photoshoot but immediately was put at ease. Sarah instantly felt like a friend welcoming me into the studio and walking me through the day. Our session started out in my most comfortable outfit and with easy poses to get started. I like how we eased into the session because it allowed me to warm up. My nerves subsided and I had the best time! I had no idea that I would love this experience in the way that I did. Sarah was such a great hype lady and was very helpful to direct some of my poses and movements. I personally wanted and needed that.

It is also real important to me to share how helpful the first two appointments were of talking on the phone and doing a creative planning session. It really aided in the success of me zeroing in on my own vision and Sarah executing it. She nailed the theme I had in mind!

To express this in another way, I had shared with a friend my theme board before showing her the photos I received back from Sarah. My friend at the end said she loved Sarah's photos better than my original board of inspired photos. That was a huge compliment to Sarah and I would agree!

Sarah also communicated very well within the whole process and was true to all the commitments and dates. Her emails were helpful, not only because it provided important detail but they also expressed helpful hints for the sessions.

I highly recommend Enowen Photography! It's a fun and beautiful experience.

From the beginning, Sarah and her team were nothing but enthusiastic to be a part of our special journey. I say journey, because it was more than just the day of. She was helpful the whole way through and after.
She had a tall order. I not only was wearing fairy wings for our engagement shoot (I highly recommend doing this by the way it was such a great way to get to know her and get comfortable before the wedding day), but had a massive pair of wings I was going to be wearing at the wedding itself. This made her even more excited which made the whole process, well, fun!
On the actual day of the event, they did such a good job capturing not just the big epic moments, but the small precious ones as well. These images are priceless especially considering how the day went by so fast. She got the purest essence of our fairy themed vibes, and produced images that are nothing short of breathtaking. They honestly belong on the cover of a fantasy adventure novel.

We absolutely loved working with Enowen Photography! As a couple, we are shy and a bit introverted, but from the very start, Sarah put us at ease and helped us to feel comfortable in front of the camera. Our engagement shoot was a pleasure, and the results were fantastic. She definitely has an amazing eye and a wonderful personality. Throughout the lead up to the engagement shoot and the wedding, communication was prompt, helpful, and easy, which was so helpful amidst all the stresses of wedding planning.

We had a last minute issue (completely on our end), so our wedding ended up being shot by Savannah. Both Sarah and Savannah were so nice, accommodating, and helpful in helping us with the last minute change and making sure we would still be able to capture our special day. We ended up meeting Savannah on our wedding day for the first time, but she more than capably stepped in. She is absolutely one of the kindest people we have met, and the whole family ended up loving her. She adapted to the situation well and melded seamlessly into the ceremony and reception. She came very prepared and had an arsenal of poses in mind which worked like a dream with various parts of our venue, all the while talking us through her vision for the various shots. Just like Sarah, she did a tremendous job of putting us camera-shy folks at ease.

From the previews we have seen so far (which we received within days), the photos are absolutely stunning. Multiple people, even artists and photographers in their own rights, have commented on the extraordinary quality of the photos, and others have said that they look like paintings from another time, or scenes from a storybook. Savannah captured every detail of the day and made them look better than real life. She was so quick and efficient, too! I feel like we did not miss a minute of our big day more than we had to. We could not have asked for more.

All in all, both Savannah and Sarah were amazing, and we cannot recommend both of them and Enowen Photography enough!

Working with Sarah was one of my favorite parts of planning our wedding. She is incredibly calm and kind-hearted. Even with having to postpone Sarah didn't skip a beat and was always very responsive to any question I had.

We planned our first look at Moses Cone Manor and the day before she went out of her way to visit the site to make sure everything was going to be perfect (turns out they were doing construction on the house!). We texted back and forth to finalize the plan to avoid construction photos. I really appreciated her taking the extra step.

In addition to her photos being absolutely stunning she is so good at her job I actually forgot she was there during our first look! She gave great directions that felt normal (there was no "fake laugh and look at each other") and as someone who normally worries about candid photos I have loved them all.

We could not be happier with our experience with Enowen Photography. We were originally supposed to be married in July of 2020, but moved the date (and the venue) due to the pandemic. I wanted to give a gift this Christmas that really meant something special. I didn’t want the typical Christmas card pictures so I asked Sarah at Enowen Photography if she could take portraits of my children in her studio. I have 3 children ages 8, 6, and 3. When we arrived we went downstairs and she spoke with each one and coaxed them so gently into sitting on a stool while she took their pictures. My children talked to Sarah and felt so comfortable and the atmosphere was so peaceful. Of the times we’ve had their pictures taken this was by far the most calm and enjoyable. Sarah (Owner of Enowen) was such a pleasure to work with, not just the day of but the days leading up to my session. Her communication from the start of this journey to the end has been unmatched.
She is one of the most patient souls I have been so blessed to work with. She will work with you through anything! To name just a few of my mishaps …I had to reschedule our initial appointment, I brought my dog along the day of, I also changed the location the day of. I am sure I was not the easiest client, but she did the needful to make sure she captured what I envisioned, and I am forever grateful.
Sarahs guidance and energy kept a smile on my face through the entire session. I have never felt more beautiful or comfortable in my own skin then I did that day and it was all thanks to her.

Payment was super easy and straightforward, as was the downloading process. She sent my bridal portraits sooner than expected and I was blown away with the results! I have over 70 high quality images to pick through and I am having such a hard time deciding which one I want printed to be displayed for my wedding day.

Sarah is an incredible wedding photographer. I had a very large bridal party, 20 people total, and she handled us all so well. She was very efficient, and got the job done in a timely manor!! Sarah went above and beyond to make sure my engagement and wedding were documented to my satisfaction. And even then, it was more than I could have hoped for.

Right off the bat, I knew Sarah was the perfect person for us. Technically speaking, she offered us a package deal to photograph our engagement, my bridal, and our wedding portraits. All for which she travelled over an hour one way (2 for my bridal portraits) just so we could have the perfect scenery. She gave us a sneak peak of our photos within a week after each session, and the rest within 2-3 weeks after each session. We received 6 hours of coverage for our wedding where she arrived early to photograph us getting ready, and stayed late to see us off. I received those pictures about 6 weeks after the wedding and I was NOT dissappointed.

Payment was extremely easy and straightforward, as was downloading photos from the links she sends. Some might wish she offered printed materials in her packages, but I found it easy to upload to Shutterfly and create my own prints and books. Be sure to get your copyright before printing at Walgreens, though!

Anyway.....It was truly rewarding to watch her excitement as she found the perfect light. She truly loves what she is doing which made all the difference in the world. She has an incredible artistic eye and will let her surroundings guide her as she paints your story. I would absolutely recommend her for your next event.
